Our clients

We have many years’ experience as specialist wine trade lawyers, acting for many different types of businesses and organisations involved in the trade.

Wine Producers and Producers’ Associations

We have worked with wine producer clients from countries all around the world, including Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and the USA.  We have also acted for producers’ associations in various parts of the world.  For example, we represented the Winemakers Federation of Australia in Lonsdale v Howard & Hallam, the landmark House of Lords case which clarified how compensation for commercial agents should be assessed in the UK.

“One of Andrew Park’s key points of difference is that he speaks in plain English.  It was very important to him that we understood everything that was happening, in fact he wouldn’t proceed until he was satisfied that this was the case.”

UK Wine Importers

We also act for UK importers – whether they act as agents or distributors, or both – of all shapes and sizes, from some of the biggest and best-known players in the UK  trade to small one-man band agencies.

“Andrew was very systematic and thorough in his approach, but he added greatest value by managing to simplify an area that is actually rather complex, and ensuring that I gained a good understanding of all the clauses contained in the contracts. Not coming from a legal background, I found this invaluable.”
